I was 12 when this video came out and I would not leave home for weeks (except for school) so that I don't miss this video on MTV (they would show it around 3 times a day), and when I would watch something else on TV I had to switch back to MTV every 2 minutes so that I don't miss "Always" and I would be very sad if I didn't catch the song from the beginning (I would cry if I caught only the end of the song). When I would say my prayers in the morning and evening for a few minutes (I used to be religious when I was a child) and I could not watch MTV at the same time for those few minutes, my mother had to sit in front of the TV and call me imediately if "Always" came on (then I would interrupt my prayers). When I would learn for school or just do some other stuff at home, MTV was constantly on so that I don't miss "Always" (I would run from the toilet, if "Always" came on.) I lived with my mother then (in Romania), we were so poor that I could not afford to buy a cassette with this song (and there was no Youtube then). My biggest dream (which I then thought was impossible) was to hear "Always" live. Many years later my mother and I moved to Germany, and when I was 24 I saw Bon Jovi live for the first time in Munich, Olympic Stadium; unfortunately they didn't play "Always" (but I was not sad, because they played many, many other songs that I loved). And two years later, in 2008, again in Munich, I heard for the first time "Always" live! You can imagine my happiness! Since then I have heard my favourite song three more times live (twice in Munich, once in Vienna). Yes, dreams come true!
