I once was a very angry youth. This womans voice help me find inner peace when times were dark. Has been many years since I have heard it. Felt like I needed it today, so glad it's on YouTube. (I have an album at home, but haven't unpacked my old cd's in such a long time).

This song gives me a sense of longing for a lost homeland. As if my soul aches to go back in time ages ago to seek peace from the world we live in today. As if i belonged to a world of the past that is not the same as today and my body is trapped in this time period, wishing to be where i belong in the past.

The day 9/11 happened and I heard about on the news, I remember running out of the house and looking for others, company of some sort. I was in Kansas, a rather loathsome place, so I went to our local small health food coop. And when I entered the store, this song was booming over the sound system. Calm and transcendence at last.
